We utilise renewable energy sources, such as solar panels on the Guesthouse and Shed, and ensure all our facilities are equipped with energy-efficient appliances and systems to reduce our carbon footprint where we can.
Through the use of water-saving technologies like drip irrigation and rainwater harvesting from our tunnels, we ensure the efficient use of water resources in our operations.
We implement comprehensive recycling and composting programs to minimise waste. All organic waste, including Alpaca manure for growing pumpkins and donkey manure for asparagus, is composted on-site, enriching our soil and reducing landfill use.
We grow our own wood to heat our log-burning hot tubs, ensuring a renewable source of fuel and reducing reliance on external resources.
No artificial fertilisers are used on our land. Instead, we rely on natural compost and manure to enrich our soil, ensuring a healthy and sustainable growing environment.
We use TURFSTONE™ GRID PAVER for our guest car park.The unique design of TURFSTONE™ allows rainwater to be gradually filtered back into the soil naturally, controlling and stabilising soil erosion. Its eco-friendly design reduces run-off and allows greenery to grow right through it, creating a highly unique hardscape that works in harmony with nature.
